Two things you may be interested in: I recently launched a podcast with my dear friend Lillian, and I am hosting a reading series called Dear Diary, the first event of which will be held this Sunday, 5/25.
No Matter is a podcast by two shrill girls who live between New York and Los Angeles. We both have Eastern European backgrounds, grew up very online and very emo in the tri-state, have a past as passionate athletes, have been in recovery (for what? you’ll have to listen to find out!), and <3 LOVE <3 2 LAUGH. If any of those things interest you, you would probably enjoy our podcast. We upload weekly on Thursdays, and you can listen here.
Dear Diary is a themed reading series hosted by me! I have been to many lovely and inspiring readings recently so I decided to host my own. The series is called Dear Diary and the readings will have fun themes like “egg” and “fanfiction” and “fuck marry kill” (I am open to suggestions although I can’t imagine how you’d come up with anything better than those three). The first reading is at 5pm this Sunday 5/25 at Singers in Brooklyn, an awesome bar if you are a twink or a doll (unfortunately I am neither but I still love going there). The theme for Sunday is — of course — dear diary. Come and listen :)
